Ranger Cookies

1 1/2 cups San Antonio River Mill Brand® Country Style Biscuit Mix

3/4 cup butter (1 1/2 sticks)

2 cups old-fashioned oats

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup chocolate chips, semi-sweet

1 cup pecans, chopped

1/4 cup water

1/4 cup sugar, granulated

1/2 cup raisins

1/2 cup brown sugar, packed

1 egg, large, lightly beaten


1Preheat standard oven to 300°F.

2Beat butter and sugars in a large mixing bowl.

3Add egg, vanilla and water until well blended.

4Gradually add biscuit mix until dry mix is moistened.

5Stir in chocolate chips, pecans and raisins until completely incorporated; scrape bowl.

6Drop by heaping teaspoons on un-greased cookie sheets; placing 2” apart.

7Bake 12-15 minutes or until edges are browned.

8Cool slightly on pan, remove to wire rack and cool completely.
