Brief History of Fiesta Medals:
Originating in the 1920's, the original fiesta medal was worn by "King Antonio" during the San Antonio Fiesta celebrations. passed down to each King Antonio, the tradition changed in 1971 when King Antonio Charles Orsinger started handing out "Kings Coins" which popularized the coins that evolved into mass-produced medals of all shapes and sizes that you see today.
